The project’s goal is to improve productive income generating activities of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), largely owned or operated by women, using solar powered systems on an affordable lease to own model. Their plan is to enable access to reliable energy for 1,000 SMEs with 2MWp worth of solar power, displacing 1,000 fuel generators (2.4MVA) and improving productive activities of SMEs by up to 50% and incomes by up to 20%. This would ultimately have a ripple effect of creating sustainable businesses and jobs within the SME ecosystem.
